I recently started having the same problem. I don't know what the source of the problem is, but I downloaded a new tool that shows the tablet's hardware status in more detail. The tool shows the Battery Charge cycling back and forth between 4% and 255% every 5 sec. I also shows the Battery Charge Rate at 0W. The tool is Notebook Hardware Control
