Question Acer C200 Screen Rotation

There's a lot of information here about the other Acer models but no mention of the C200. I just got mine about a week ago and have been messing with it quite a bit but have come across one problem that's stumped me.

For some reason Acer decided to partition the 100GB hard drive off into two 50GB partitions. That was the first thing that needed to be fixed. I recovered the whole thing after that to give me a clean slate to work with. After that, added all of the goodies on the CDs they gave me and all of the extra stuff, including drivers and such, directly from their website. Everything is working beautifully except for the screen rotation, tablet buttons and the scroll wheel on the bottom right corner.

The screen does still rotate if you use the "Change tablet and pen settings" button in the task bar. However, the tablet button on the right of the screen doesn't work at all (neither do the other 2 next to it. Fn and Esc.) but the power and lock button do. The other thing is that before I started messing with things (and even a little bit after), when you slid the screen down to tablet mode, the screen orientation would switch to portrait and then back to landscape in notebook mode. It's not doing this anymore at all and I'd like it to but I've been in and out of everything in the control panel that I can think of and couldn't find anything to do with automatic screen rotation.

The scroll wheel I'm not even sure where to begin with since I haven't really looked into it much yet.

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on this matter. I read through some of the other posts on here with other tablets having the same problem but couldn't get any of it to apply to my tablet. I realize the answer to this is going to be something plainly obvious but would appreciate the help anyway.

The exact model I have is the CMT204TMi. Click here to view specs. Purchased from NewEgg.com.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Use the System Disc after the clean install or if you're having problems to load all the drivers that are found on that. Launch Manager fixed the tablet buttons and one of the other drivers on there got the scroll wheel working.

I'm not sure if this is officially how to work this but I think I figured out how to trigger the automatic screen rotation. It doesn't work 100% of the time but works most of it. Here's what you do:

Fold the screen down completely so it's in tablet mode. Go to Control Panel and into your Tablet and Pen settings. Set you screen for Primary Portrait. Save that and exit out of Control Panel. Once you "unlock" it and slide it up to Notebook mode, it should switch to Primary Landscape.

Good luck!
