i'm just asking 'cos i'd like to know what symptoms bad memory can
have. I've never had that problem. The symptoms of bad memory that
i'm aware of - in windows - are blue screens of death mentioning
invalid memory references. I'd have thought the mouse and keyboard
would use their own memory registers - shouldn't touch RAM. Those
registers would be addressed like RAM, but wouldn't be RAM. If the
keyboard buffer is in RAM, then it'd only be in a few locations. So
i'd expect other problems, like blue screens of death. |
