You can always make a shortcut containing:
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,/select,c:\
that, when clicked, would open the windows explorer much the same way -
single click, no right click, explore, or anything. Dual pane explorer view.
For Run, you can make a shortcut on the desktop or quick launch or anywhere,
simply by hitting the start button, hovering over the RUN command till it's
highlighted, then simply dragging it somewhere.
While it's not the perfect solutions, these at least give you single click
options to launch what you want, no right clicks or context menus or anything
to deal with.
The RUN shortcut will show the & sign in front of it - just what happens when
it's created. You can simply right click it and rename it to remove that
character.
