RE: Acer C100 memory upgrade

Hello Bart,

I also have a C102 model. My understanding is that the processor itself
will recognize no more than 256 MB. There have been discussions on this
board about it, which is how I learned of it. Since it is the processor, it
seems as though there would be no bios update that could fix it either. I
would say, though, the only thing that could go wrong is someone paid to put
512 MB in, it it still only saw 256 MB.

I use Office 2003, and normally I shut down daily, but I had noticed some
issues when I would just let it sleep instead. The memory leak hot fix seems
to have cleared that up, as I have not noticed anymore slow downs.
