The specifications of this new computer look so similar to what James
Kendrick and I have been urging that updating my "Sweet-spot for Tablet
Computers for People on the Go" page (
www.segal.org/tablet/) today for the
Motion Computing LS800 seemed like checking off the boxes. I began the page
in November 2002, shortly after the Tablet PC launch, and imagine I'll
retire the page and declare victory.
I look forward to showing one of these computers at a medical conference.
Last fall all the doctors told me that my Motion Computing M1300 slate was
great but they wouldn't get one unless it would fit in their white coat
pocket. For sales of these computers to really take off, makers of sport
jackets will need to add a bigger pocket - sales will depend not only on
software but also on softwear.
