Steve, depending on which version of Windows Update you're using, you should
follow the troubleshooting information in the left pane of the site. There
are two versions now, v5 which is normally used, and the new version 6 which
includes not only Windows updates but some for other products like the
Office family. If you have additional questions, I would check the
microsoft.public.windowsupdate newsgroup for additional information.
