The options are to Auto Hide or have the Taskbar visible at all times,
Peter. I don't actually recall the behavior you're describing as related to
a Windows 2000 install, or any other Windows version. 8-) You would need
to Unlock the Taskbar off the right-click menu first, then set the Auto Hide
option in the Properties section.
