Maybe your devices require album art of 175x175. Microsoft continues to
provide compatibility with devices who require miniscule album art and I am
sure they'll restrict the album art for all WMP users to 175x175 if this is
the case. Compatibility with older devices is the single most important
issue with the Windows Media Player product team other than simplification
of the user interface.

What's that, you say? Your device doesn't care about album art and
especially its size? I must be mistaken then. Compatibility with older
devices must not really matter one single twit to the Microsoft Windows
Media Player product team. I must have been misled.
