I'm not clear if XBox supports Ping, it may well not be running a
standard OS supporting TCP/IP tools. It should definitely be on the
same subnet though - are the network addresses for the PC and XBox
similar to 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3 ? (Often 192.168.1.1 would be
your router)
