Yep. I had the exact same issue with the drivers from the link below.

Later I found that the MS site (and the hp site) had updated drivers for my
hp PC. You might want to check that. The MS update site (as of today at
least) had drivers that were Jan/07. The hp site Vista drivers were Nov/06.
