Re: Software to burn cd's in Vista ?

The only file formats that Media Player rips to are 4 Windows Media
variations, mp3 and .wav none of which will play on my car cd player. When
you click rip what you get is a copy of the song that's been converted to a
..wma file by default not a copy of the .cda file. The cd audio files are
..cda and are not even visible in Windows from what I can tell. If I try and
do a regular file copy of one of the tracks all I get is a 44 byte .cda file
that does not play. . I'll have to buy a copy of Nero 7 apparently to do
this.
