Too bad you don't write what your problems are...
One thing: Linux doesn't use 'a lot of RAM'. It's just different and more
efficient than it's on Windows. On Windows most of the RAM is not used
most of the time. On Linux almost all RAM is used almost all of the time,
for example to catch data from disk. And when RAM is needed for something,
only than RAM is freed.
I I buy RAM personally I prefer it's been used :o)
