I have a Toshiba tablet PC R -15, with Works 8 pre-installed. I can't get
the
undocked icon for text entry to appear in the workspace for Works Word.
The icon shows up when I point the pen anywhere else-like at the window to
change the font. No other problems with text entry. It looks to me like
the program
bas been intentionally hobbled to got me to buy the Office Suite 2003 which
I just
don't need.

Does anybody know a fix for this? Maybe a switch in the registry?
