Alan, you should post your questions to the
microsoft.public.windows.tabletpc.developer newsgroup where they deal with
dev/programming situations like this all the time. I know what you want to
do can be done, since all the original Tablet PC superset was created on
desktops, and believe you need to have the Tablet SDK installed.

The other newsgroup is a wonderful resource and they'll jump in and be very
helpful. You can also get additional information at the Tablet PC Developer
