jkendrick is on a distinguished road
It's important to remember this is just a prototype so might never make the light of day. I have a few observations about this form factor, since I have been using a Sony U for a good while. I think the Ruby screen is about 5" which is the size of the screen on the Sony. I've also compared the Ruby screen desktop with different resolutions on the Sony and it appears to be 480x640 which is very small. Inking must be comfortable for a sustained session and narrow screens make that very difficult to do. This prototype also has a very anemic processor and only 128 MB of memory which will not run WinXP, let alone the Tablet extensions very well. I don't know anyone who's happy with any WinXP machine with 128 MB of RAM.

I am a big supporter of mini-Tablets but I think they need to be a bit bigger than this one to be practical.
