attempts to upgrade my acer travelmate 2420 result in the same error code.

spent about 5 hours today faffing, messsign with partitions, chanigng to NTFS etc etc nothing I did helped, always the same error code

error code 0x80070017

missing or corrupt files...anyone think something smelly is gonna hit the fan
