| Re: hp tc 1100 checkerboatd problem when start up I'm sorry but your message is not clear so my answer is based on an assumption that you entered safe mode.
Per instructions, you turned on the machine, pressed the F8 key immediately, and entered safe mode. However, the screen was already checkerboarded as soon as you turned on the machine - in other words - before the operating system was loaded you could not see what was happening. If this is the case then your hardware is bad. This is not a software issue. Instead, you will need to contact a place that can repair the system. I'm sorry for the bad news.
If, on the other hand, you start the machine and can read what is on the screen and once the OS loads then you have problems reading the screen - please boot the system into safe mode - please re-read the directions provided in the link earlier so that you can determine if the challenge you have is a driver issue.
Best of luck. |
