Hi Garry,

Thanks a ton for ur help but still no success as the error pasted below
will throw some light. BTW, I'm using FC6
================================
[pom@localhost ~]$ su
Password:
[root@localhost sun]# rpm -e firefox
[root@localhost sun]# rm /usr/bin/firefox
rm: cannot lstat `/usr/bin/firefox': No such file or directory
[root@localhost pom]# ln -s /home/pom/firefox/firefox /usr/bin/firefox
[root@localhost pom]# cd firefox
[root@localhost firefox]# firefox
/home/pom/firefox/firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries:
libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[root@localhost firefox]# ./firefox
../firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
================================================== =====
Now I'm without FF1.5 too. Trying Konqueror thru GUI which for some
strange reaons doesnt come up :-(
