Hi,

Sorry for the late response. I'm unable to recall the exact error but it
was something to the effect of "cannot launch firefox" .
Yesterday, I googled for installation of FF2 on FC6. Tried to follow the
steps as listed therein. Yet again, it started FF1.5.
BTW, in Windows, the ideal path of any installation is
C:\Programfiles\foldername. In Linux, whats the normal path? As, I
reinstalled FF1.5 with yumex, where does FF1.5 reside? The "which
firefox" output is /usr/bin/firefox
On FC5 and RH9 when I chose FF2, I made custom launcher for which the
path was /home/poms/firefox/firefox. But no such success in FC6.
