Hi Mark,
Thanks for your reply.
This time around I downloaded FF2 another time. Extracted it and it created
firefox directory. I added an icon to the panel and gave the path/location
of the firefox but to no avail. It opened the preinstalled FF1.5.
I then did yum remove firefox which removed it. Then got FF2 again but it
failed to launch. Surprisingly, on RH9 and even FC5 which I had earlier, FF2
worked fine but not on FC6. Again I chose yumex to get FF but it only
installed FF1.5
I googled for the steps, unfortunately, it didnt help much.
