My Ubuntu 6.10 system froze up a couple of times yesterday, only when
playing Unreal Tournament 2004 (full screen mode). ctrl+alt+backspace had
not effect, neither did ctrl+alt+del Totally frozen, had to use reset
switch on PC case. Is there anything that can be done in such situations
to regain control without a hardware reset as I did?
