Re: dvd/cdrom had disappeared??

To get into the BIOS, it's usually either DEL or F2 on startup. If nothing
is showing in the BIOS, then either the optical drive is not powered up, the
ribbon/sata cable has come out or it has died and gone to optical drive
heaven. If you are nervous about the BIOS, check the cables first.
