Yes- I had to install Voice Command on the Wizard.

I like the recent programs list. It's marginally useful, and takes up
otherwise unused scren real estate. I see no advantage in the start menu
only droppng down to cover 1/3 of the screen length. Regardless of my
feelings about it, though, I know of no way to remove it permanently,
sorry.

I've been through quite a few modulators- most have horrible frequency
response. I got lucky and found a pretty decent one by the (good quality
but way overpriced) "Monster Cable" folks on clearance for 75% off
because it had the misfortune to be labeled in big letters "Works with
Zune!" and ended up on a clearance rack of Zune accessories (at Staples
of all places!)

Depends how critical you are- if my car had a tape deck I'd probably use
a cassette adaptor!
I have very litle trouble finding modulators that reproduce the low end-
the high is usually the problem- they tend to rolloff far below FM's
15khz limit. The Monster Cable unit is decent, and I have a Griffin
that's not quite as good, but acceptable. Hopefully my next car will
have a direct cable connection (aux jack) like my wife's and I'll be done
with it.

Yes, it's a first-gen. No A2DP, no GPS, and no MMS. A real overpriced
POS but she loves it!
