Naturally you flushed out the usual A-holes with such a question.
Disregard
snotty A**ed remarks, (To be expected from a few), and take in the
objective responses. I have to agree that unless YOU are the "boss," you
need to go along with what the boss(s) want you to say/recommend. Unless
you yourself have actually USED Win7, you have NO basis to recommend
anything. Reading this or that to formulate an opinion is only relying
on someone else's experience and THEIR opinion. Therefore, unless YOU
have actually used Win7, you cannot recommend anything at all, other
than what "the boss" wants you to recommend/say. BUT, even if you HAVE
used Win7, you are sill limited in response to customer's requests for
advisement, by what has been set fourth and allowed by your superiors.

As stated, a lot depends on what a customer likes, wants, and NEEDS. You
have someone that craves the cutting edge? ..Then go-for-it, sell
him/her the latest-greatest OS. Gotta do some questioning/inquiring to
determine if a customer really needs to upgrade to the latest or is just
fine where they are. ..But by all means, YOU must get educated and know
for YOURSELF what the differences are in the OS's. (If you really want
to be the expert.)Otherwise you cannot recommend anything, for you know
nothing about the subject. You are limited to what the "boss" wants of
course, but if you have first hand experience, you could, (carefully),
upstage even the boss.(Impress hopefully!)

As with other releases, it has been beneficial to just wait and see how
things go, and usually better off waiting for at least the first
"service pack." I have done the Beta testing, and now the "RC," and have
been impressed with some things, and disappointed with others. That's
just me and what I may like or dislike though. In general, I am liking
Win7 MUCH better than Vista.

G'day
