Windows 7 is more ready, IMHO.

When the beta came out, most were impressed at how well it ran and the low
bug level. The RC was even more impressive. In many ways Windows 7 is
Vista's long awaited second edition and will probably be good for prime time
at launch, no need to wait for a service pack.
