It's not a sin to be on dial-up, and "so-called" is right! What you're
seeing in IE (but not in OE) is due NetZero's "web accelerator." If you
disable (or uninstall) it, all should be well...but it may take longer for
graphics files you've previously viewed to refresh (downloaded again).
Also check your settings...

for newer versions of stored webpages <=here
