And if THAT complication wasn't enough, most Windows Mobile phones also
automatically set the time from signals received from the mobile operator.
So after getting the "correct" time from the PC when syncing, it can change
immediately after disconnecting it from the PC! Some mobile operators also
reset the time zone, causing interesting results in some zones. T-Mobile
USA used to reset my phone's "Mountain Time (US) GMT-7" zone to
"Saskatchewan (Canada) GMT-6" in the summer as thier way of applying DST!
If this is a problem, the auto clock set from the mobile operator can
usually be disabled in the "Phone" settings menu. (Look for a "Time Zones"
tab on the phone settings page on touchscreen devices, and uncheck the tick
box if this is problematic.)
