I googled something up a day or two ago about this. Apparently Yahoo is
in the midst of revamping servers to a new protocol, which of course
causes Pidgin to break and no connect to yahoo. It said that release
2.60 was supposed to fix this. I found that there is a new maint
release 2.57 out. This fixed my lone windows machine, I use OpenSuse on
my linux machines, their upgrade site does not have the one tailored for
opensuse yet available.
