Depends on the quality of the adapter and card, of course, but I have used a
spare 1g miniSD in a SD card adaptor quite a lot without any issue. It is
used a backup disc on a laptop's SD card slot, used multiple times daily for
months, no issue.

The card is a very tight fit in the adaptor, something that you might want
to check on - the sd card mechanism will do little to hold the micro sd card
in the adapter itself, so make sure it can't be accidently lost.
