I have a Hauppauge DTV USB plug. It runs so hot you can't hold it in your
hand. It kills a full sized laptop battery in 40 minutes, rendering it
useless for watching TV unplugged. Don't buy a Hauppauge...it's crap!

Run whatever TV USB adapter you like for 60 minutes. Buy the one that gets
least warm and return the others to the store as crap....

The coolest one uses the least battery power....longest runtime.
