Unfortunately, no consumer Pocket PC comes with external Wi-Fi antenna
connectors and, as has been pointed out in many of my related articles, the
same stands for Compact Flash / Secure Digital / MiniSD / microSD Wi-Fi
cards. None of them is known for being able to be hacked either, as opposed
to some "hackable" PCMCIA Wi-Fi cards.
There have been some hacks for other devices; for example, the iPAQ 4150.
They have been, on the other hand, using normally-sized connectors (ones
that you can find in Wi-Fi access pointes with detachable antennas) and,
therefore, really ugly (and making the headphones socket inaccessible). The
x50v / x51v mod, however, is using a mini socket and, therefore, isn't very
nice-looking. The x50v / x51v mod is completely different.
