That might cause a driver problem if Windows attempted to install a "best fit" driver instead of having access to the real thing.With the device plugged in, you might go to device manager on the PC and delete any "Windows Mobile" devices you see there, then unplug the device, reboot, then reconnect hoping it loads the drivers the AS 4.5-provided drivers "fresh" and reinstalls the device.I'm not intimately familiar with the i760. Does it offer a "mass storage mode" or "USB drive" mode to use the device as a flash memory drive? If so, you'd have to put it back in "Activesync mode" to get it to sync. |
