There is a possibility to call a certain thread *directly* by adding
some elements to the URL.
The same for messages with the MID in the URL.

I hardly ever posted via Google Groups. But I search there and I read
there when a thread has been scrolled from MS newsserver.

An additional question - although TOT -:
How can one search in multiple groups if a certain site, f.e. all groups
in the microsoft.public.vista.* hierarchy ??
