Yes, especially the new Touch-Screen series (just like the HP we had
been talking about a longer while ago). And it seems that new "double
touch" technology (which allows for touching more than just one spot at
the same time [similar to what the iPhone brought]) will be implemented
by several manufacturers.
As the the project of UMPCs turned out to have been not too successful,
possibly some netbook sized devices with touch-screen features might be
a new route.

Yes, a TI 1620 - really old device which on my tc1100 did not allow fir
more than just 1GB. I had tried really everything - trying all drivers
available - under XP, to no avail. The same under Vista. In some thread
in some forum in the web I read that this reader was limited to 1GB
hardware wise.

This never happened with my tc1100. Perhaps one of the Fujitsu issues
discussed in the other thread.

Thanks fro the reference. Never tried a SDHC card (mainly because my PDA
dies not support that).
Just struggled with the "2GB Won't work" issue.

Did you try the HP driver the article is based upon?

I have several SD to USB adapters (among others a HP "USB Digital Drive"
which has a great design) but I'd really like to be able to use a card >
1GB in the slot of my tc1100.
