Great info... thanks.
With that info, it appears that tablet functionality is becoming an
integral part of ms' DT os... there are several computers which have
screen input capabilities which do not appear to advertise themselves as
"tablets"
>> TI card-reader. <<
is that your SD card reader?
If so, two thoughts...
First, mine is disabled every time the computer comes out of suspend (or
hiberantion) mode... I posted here earlier about devcon.exe which is a
downloadable command line version of device manager.
Once installed, the following shortcut will wake up any sleeping devices
and you can add a "hotkey" to the shortcut such as <ctrl><Alt><C> to
easily execute it.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\devcon.exe rescan
Second, the Fuji SD slot is not SDHC compatible, which is normally not a
problem for me as I avoid SDHC cards because of their incompatibility
with many of my devices such as pocketpc's, this page makes for
interesting reading.

Not sure if I trust it as I think SDHC requires SDHC compatible
hardware... i.e. SanDisk offered free card readers with the cards rather
than posting driver updates for their existing SD card readers.
