Thank you Chris for your help. I will check out that article. In response to
your question : It doesn't matter which secection I make, be it 'safe mode'
, 'start normally', etc, the selection, which ever one it is, causes the
reboot loop that begins with the Compaq logo, then the Windows tablet pc logo
and some action there, a blue screen that is up for a second, and I cannot
stop the screen to read what it says, then the screen that windows did not
open normally and the various choices, any of which when selected will
restart the loop.
