Hello,
Using Windows XP Home SP2, have the same two color options.
There were more options, I do not know when this changed.
I changed video cards, perhaps this changed the color options.
The color change on letters and numbers "may be" caused by " Clear Type".
If the color changes on certain letter combinations, ie - th - HF etc., I
believe this is a function of "Clear Type" to assist in viewing.
Do not know much about Clear Type, or if this is the problem.
