Hi
I'm one of those people (I suspect that there are a great many here), I have a tablet, I found & bookmarked this forum a while ago, but hadn't registered until I started running into problems (though I do use other XP/ Internet etc forums a lot).
My answers:
1: Toshiba M200 (non booting :()
2: 1.6 G processor, 256 RAM & 60 GB hard drive (as far as I can remember)
3: No idea - work got it.
4: About 10 months ago
5: Earlier Portege (non Tablet) was stolen. This was replacement. The reason for chosing it was
a: Toshiba are the main Laptop supplier that we use.
b: I wanted a light weight one.
c: The tablet had the best processor in the Portege range.
6: It was only quite recently that I really started getting into using the tablet features - I work in Higher Education, and SP2, along with Office 2003 made annotating student scripts as easy on screen as it was on paper - and so I started using it for that.
Now it's conked out, & requires rebooting from the CD - but like others I've not got a Toshiba one. It's with the techhies at present, they are trying assorted external CDs with it ... but I'll post in the relevant area.
I'm UK based by the way.
