If I am reading this correctly the problem is changing video cards
after install. Put the geforce back in and it should boot. If it does
uninstall the geforce drivers, shutdown and install the ati card. It
should boot and install vga drivers and then you can install the ati
drivers. I had the same problem only I had ati x1600 and went to evga
8800gts. Had to put the x1600 back in to get it to boot.
Off course I could be wrong if I interpreted your post wrong.
