Ah, sorry about that. One of the risks that you take by jumping into an
active thread instead of starting a new one. :)
I don't know of any similar issues with Iomega Hot Burn that would
interfere with right click functions. That doesn't mean that there aren't
any - just haven't read about any.
When you worked through the right click info before, did you validate every
addon entry as functional? Did you try the method of disabling them so
that just the default entries were there? Then adding them back one at a
time, testing as you go?
Also, you might try using Task Manager and watch for what process is
spiking CPU usage during these slow downs. You could add some columns to
the Task Manager display (I/O read and I/O write would be good ones to try)
for further clues. There are third party process monitor that could be
helpful with this as well.
Any word in Event Viewer for errors/warnings at the times of these
slowdowns?
