thank you both for your responses, i'd just like to add..

in the event that i did want to undervolt the cpu to lower the
temperature

is there any difference between doing so on the TC1100 and the TC1000 ?
e.g. would one processor allow it and the other not? or is there good
software that does it, but that only works for one processor?
I imagine that the TC1100 has a better chance if it's possible..
Unless the TC1000's unusual processor has its own software to do it.
