That's fine. Older versions are cheaper anyway and perfectly functional for
my needs.

So I can use Bluetooth then, with the SDIO driver uopgrade? That's cool.

I searched for G1000 through Google's archives of that group and there was
not only nothing relevant, there was nothing, period. What am I looking for
there exactly?

I loaded most of my software loaded on a SC Card anyway. How much free RAM
would I need? Right now I have about 17MB of free RAM when I soft reset.

I cannot replace my G1000 now due to financial constraints. The other
options even on eBay all run a few hundred dollars and I got this for only
$65 or so.

I have to assume that if I do bite the bullet and purchase the Pharos G1000
kit which comes with its own GPS locator and cables as well as its own
software - Ostia - that it would work better since, well, it was *designed*
to be used with the G1000, presumably with the limitations we both know are
inherent with older technology. The absolute cheapest I have seen a kit is
$125. Anyone have experience with this? Maybe Ostia software is better
than Streets for my particular device... I have read glowing reviews online
from consumers who used it when it was first introduced way back when...
