Dan,
I know that sarcasm isn't always conveyed well in online messages,
but that's what that line was. I know there's a large market of
dial-up users. Microsoft and the rest of the world, however, is
pushing to have more and more applications use the speed of more than
dial-up. Graphic intensive websites, online application hosting, etc.
etc. That is not the point of this discussion though. The point is, i
do not use a modem, i even disabled my modem, yet the registration
still insists on using said modem. This issue was not really about
registering after I tried 3 times with no success. The point of asking
for help on this issue is to figure out why Windows is being so (not to
sound like a geek) but illogical.
