I have the Spanish Language Pack which as you probably know contains
Brazilian Portuguese Proofing Tools. The DLL file is labelled "Itautec
Revisor Gramatical Português-Brasil" and "Copyright (C) Itautec SA 1998-2006
All Ri..." It has File version 12.0.0.16 and Date modified 10/6/2006. The
company name is "Itautec SA". If you contact the supplier they may be able
to tell you about their plans to release a new version. It may already be
available directly from them.

I would expect some delay getting this through Microsoft because it would
have to be tested, paid for, licensed, etc. If you contact the supplied it
may be faster. If you have the continental Portuguese Proofing Tools you
might check the DLL for company information too. It's in
%programfiles%\common files\microsoft shared\proof. The Brazilian one is
named MSSP3PB.DLL for the grammar piece and MSHY3PB.DLL for the
hyphenization piece. Both pieces are labelled Itautec SA. I am thinking
that the continental file has PT in place of PB, but I am not sure.
