Shenan,
It goes to the screen saver and then black. When I touck the mouse it goes
to the welcome screen. Password or not. Just like you describe. Except
that I have followed the instructions for both the desktop properties and
power settings. It still does it. I am thinking it is something in control
panel - administrative tools
