One issue with used computers is that it can get difficult to get new
batteries. Since battery life diminishes with time this can be a problem.

A Motion LS800 would have been perfect for your needs, but that too is old,
and it has limited RAM so it is slow. It is too bad Motion never did a
successor to the LS800 - that would be the sweet spot for many people.
