Re: MS Word 2007 suddenly stopped working properly

Hi Paula,

Click start and type "regedit" (without the quotes), then hit <enter>. Click
continue at the prompt. This will open the registry editor, and you must be
careful about what you do here.

Expand the branches at left by clicking the triangles to reach the listed
subkey (each key looks like a folder). Basically, click the triangle in
front of each of these in succesion (each is a subkey below the previous
one):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft
Office
12.0
Word

Under this level you should find the Data key. Right click on the "Data" key
to rename it. Doesn't matter what you call it, just not "Data". Once
completed, close the registry editor and restart the program.
