I have the very same problem: Windows Mobile Device Center will not install onto Vista Business. No erorr message is given. Microsoft.com does not list this as a product they support (!). The wireless company (Verizon Wireless) which sold me the phone containing the installation disk says only Microsoft can help with installation issues.
