Re: Digitizer not working?

Michelle,

I am having problems with my digitizer screen on my Toshiba 3505 also. I
have a strip about 1/3 of the way in from the left side in portrait mode. I
keep pressing on the screen through that area and it helps for a short time
while using it. The amount of time I get varies. It is indeed frustrating. I
use mine daily and would have a hard time giving it up for a few days or
more. I purchased mine as an open item at Best Buy (only one they had).
However, I noticed later that the case had been opened and some of the
plastic in the one corner was cracked and now broke off. I also live far
away from Best Buy which makes it difficult to go there. I read some
messages from another 3505 user who went through a couple of digitizer
replacements. I wonder if other makes/models have similar problems over
time. I have used mine daily for about 10 months now. I wonder what the
lifespan of the digitizers is?

I wish you the best,

Jim
